Maverick is ESA’s new servodrive platform designed to cover a wide range of single-axis applications: from standard machinery to high-performance applications.
Available in two versions — Maverick S and Maverick A — it shares architecture, configuration tools, and software ecosystem, ensuring long-term scalability and protection of machine investment.
Maverick S is the entry-level version of the ESA servo platform, based on the ST H7 processor. It provides reliable control, simple configuration, and a competitive cost. As the natural successor to the ECO range, it is built on a modern architecture shared with Maverick A.
Maverick A is the high-performance version of the ESA servo platform, based on the Renesas RZ/T2M dual-core processor. It is designed for high-dynamic applications requiring advanced control and safety integrated at the architectural level—not added through firmware.
Safe Torque Off (STO) certificato SIL2 secondo IEC 61800-5-2, integrato direttamente nell’hardware del drive. L’architettura dual-channel ridondante elimina la necessità di componenti esterni, semplificando la progettazione della macchina.
Ideale per applicazioni stand-alone e sistemi con safety gestita via PLC, supporta la conformità al Regolamento Macchine (UE) 2023/1230.
Con Maverick A la sicurezza è integrata a livello architetturale. Il processore dual-core Renesas RZ/T2M separa fisicamente controllo motion e gestione safety, garantendo massime prestazioni e indipendenza funzionale.
Questa architettura permette di implementare funzioni SafeMotion fino a SIL3 secondo IEC 61800-5-2, senza compromessi sulle performance di macchina.
