From 13 to 15 May 2025, SPS Italia, the leading trade fair for the Italian manufacturing industry, will return to Parma. The event is dedicated to technological innovation, process digitalization, and the transition toward a more sustainable industrial model. Among the main themes anticipated for the 2025 edition are artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and solutions for increasingly connected and efficient production systems.
SPS Italia: Smart Production Solutions
Held annually since 2011, SPS Italia continues to be a key platform for discussing the most pressing challenges facing the industry of the future. This year, the fair will welcome over 800 exhibitors across six pavilions, providing a comprehensive view of the latest developments in smart, digital, and sustainable industry.
Exhibitors will represent the full spectrum of industrial automation, including control systems, motion control, advanced sensors, collaborative robotics, and industrial data management solutions. The event will also feature companies specializing in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, the Industrial Internet of Things, industrial software, and augmented reality for predictive maintenance. The Digital District at SPS Italia 2025
The Digital District is back at SPS Italia 2025, featuring interactive demonstrations, real-world case studies, and dedicated spaces for training and open innovation. This area is designed to foster collaboration between companies, startups, and research centers, and to showcase the enabling technologies of Industry 5.0, including artificial intelligence, augmented reality, cloud computing, cybersecurity, big data, and the Industrial Internet of Things.

Visitors will be offered an immersive experience into digital transformation, with the chance to interact directly with key industry players and providers of industrial software solutions. The fair will present the “Focus AI” project, an area dedicated to the real-world applications of artificial intelligence in the industrial sector. The Education area is aimed at recent graduates and postgraduate students preparing to enter the world of the digital factory. This space will host academic programs, STEAM learning solutions, e-learning platforms, and interactive workshops. The goal is to guide young talent toward emerging professions and help bridge the skills gap. This area will also feature initiatives such as Lessons at the Fair and the “Girls and Women in ICT” roundtable, in collaboration with the School of Robotics and the Ministry of Education, with a focus on promoting gender inclusion.
